An established oil and gas company is looking for a Logistics Sourcing Manager to function as an individual contributor to drive its category management of logistics service providers to manage cost savings initiatives and create efficient supply chain values for the company. About the Logistics Sourcing Manager Role:
In this position, you will lead the sourcing, contracting and performance management of logistics categories for the company to ensure that the best service and rates for the company on a regional scale and to ensure the adherence to company SLAs. Key Responsibilities:

• Leading end to end sourcing and contracting of logistics service provider categories and to ensure that the best value derivation for the company taking into account price and quality of service
• Developing sourcing strategies for the mentioned categories based on market and industry intelligence gathered
• Fully understand business unit requirements and scope of works to be able to better identify category players that would best suit the needs of the business
• Performing supplier prequalification screening and manage the overall supplier selection process
• Develop and implement category contract templates based on scope of work
• Leading negotiations with vendors while upholding the interest of the company

To succeed in the Logistics Sourcing Manager role, you will need to have strong experience in end to end sourcing of LSPs within the oil and gas industry to have a full grasp of market capabilities and market rates. Key Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field of study
• More than 12 years of working experience in end-to-end sourcing and contracting of logistics service providers
• Strong commercial and business acumen for negotiation purposes
• Proven knowledge and experience in the oil and gas categories
• Ability to work on a shift basis to support overseas regions
• Strong analytical skills, influential, operations process driven and focused on accuracy
• Ability to resolve conflicts, strong sense of urgency, proactive and possess the foresight to plan ahead for the business
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management capability to communicate effectively with other functional heads
