Lorry Driver duties and responsibilities

A Lorry Driver is responsible for the goods they are assigned to transport. They are responsible for keeping to a schedule and ensuring that the goods are delivered intact, without damages and as requested by the customer. A Lorry Driver's main duties and responsibilities include:

Ensuring vehicles are mechanically sound and legally roadworthy Performing basic repairs and maintenance in the event of accident or breakdown while in transit Safely securing heavy loads and large goods for transport Organising the most efficient route from pickup point to drop off point Keeping informed of road closures, accidents and traffic diversions Organising multiple drop-offs and deliveries in each working day Supervising and assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries into the lorry Updating vehicle log books, recording deliveries and tracking mileage Complying with all MOT and in-house regulations and rules
Those with E Licence

Basic : RM1,800

Attendance : RM100

E Licence Allowance : RM300

Without E Licence

Basic : RM1,800

Attendance : RM100

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
