We are seeking a reliable and responsible Lorry Driver to support our delivery, logistics, and installation operations. The ideal candidate will ensure safe and timely transportation of goods, assist with loading/unloading, and provide support for basic on-site tasks when required.
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate company lorry for delivery and collection of goods.
Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Load and unload goods from the lorry with proper handling to prevent damage.
Ensure delivered items are in good condition and obtain customer acknowledgment.
Assist with basic furniture moving, installation, and dismantling at customer sites or showrooms when required.
Conduct routine checks on vehicle condition (fuel, tyres, lights, cleanliness, etc.).
Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents immediately to the management.
Ensure compliance with road safety rules and company SOPs.
Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock movement and organizing when needed.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the vehicle and work sites.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the company to support smooth operations.
Qualifications
Minimum SPM or equivalent.
Possess a valid
GDL license
(Goods Driving License).
At least 1 year of experience in driving a lorry (fresh applicants with good driving record are encouraged to apply).
Good knowledge of Klang Valley routes is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to handle goods and furniture.
Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia (English/Mandarin is an added advantage).
