Job Purpose:

To safely and efficiently transport goods from one location to another, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle condition, and adhering to all road and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive lorries to transport goods and materials to specified destinations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and proper handling. Inspect the lorry before and after trips, checking for mechanical issues and safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo details. Follow designated routes and delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery updates or any issues during the route. Perform routine maintenance checks and schedule repairs when necessary. Ensure that all documentation, such as delivery notes, invoices, and receipts, are correctly completed.

Working Hours:

From 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Salary:

RM1700 + 900(Attendance Incentive)

Job Specification (JS) - Lorry Driver

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class E License.

Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a lorry driver. Experience in loading and securing various types of cargo.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and follow delivery routes. Good communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor maintenance and troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects. Good vision and hearing for safe driving.
