Position

: Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1)

Location

: Destiny International School, Muar, Johor

Starting on: 1st December 2025

Destiny International School is seeking a

child-centred, inspirational, and passionate

Primary Teacher to join our Key Stage 1 team. This role is ideal for an educator who is enthusiastic about working with children aged 6 to 8, and who is committed to nurturing both academic and personal growth in young learners.

Requirements (Malaysian applicants only):

Possess a

Bachelor of Education

or equivalent teaching qualification Minimum

2 years of teaching experience

in a recognized English curriculum (e.g., British or Cambridge) Fluent, confident, and articulate in

English

, with excellent communication skills Strong understanding of

early childhood development

and age-appropriate teaching methods Demonstrated ability to

motivate, engage, and inspire

young learners Collaborative and able to work effectively with the

Key Stage 1 teaching team

Competent in

classroom management

and creating a positive learning environment Able to

plan, organize, and participate in school events

,

activities, and competitions

Familiarity with using

formative and summative assessments

to track student progress Must be

physically and mentally fit

, with

no criminal record
