The Bank is looking to hire an Associate for their M&A Advisory team.You will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in origination and execution of investment banking pitches, mandates and opportunities, while promoting and enhancing the bank\'s Investment Banking Advisory\'s franchise in MalaysiaKey Responsibilities

• Undertake company and industry research through various databases (Factset, Bloomberg,regulatory bodies, public sources, etc.)
• Perform financial analysis and financial modelling (discounted cash flows, trading & transaction comparables, pro-forma analysis)
• Preparation of pitch books for IBA deals and execution of mandated transactions
• Ensuring compliance with applicable Compliance requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with clients at the appropriate level and seniority
• Appreciation of SC or Bursa regulations such as listing rules, takeover codes, etc.
• Assist and support senior bankers in achieving the budget for IBA
• Assist and support senior bankers in securing franchise building mandates
• To maintain Customer Relationship Management database of contacts and coverage notes
• To monitor market and industry developments for deal sourcing opportunities
• Ensure compliance with Bank\'s policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, in particular with regards to the KYC responsibilities and duties

Key Requirements

• At least an experience of 3 years within M&A or Corporate Finance function within the Bank or Advisory Firms
• Have completed modules 12 and 19 of CMSRL papers
• Excellent verbal and written English
