Machine Operator (Punch - CNC Turret Punch)

Job Summary

The Machine Operator (Punch - CNC Turret Punch) is responsible for setting up and operating CNC turret punch machines to produce precision metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules. The role ensures safe operations, accuracy, and effective coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch machines to produce precision parts. Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and micrometers. Perform operational activities related to punching machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Liaise with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure smooth flow of materials and components. Maintain and continuously improve housekeeping standards in the work area. Support training activities as and when required. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Role Requirements

Minimum 3 years of direct working experience operating CNC Turret Punch machines in the metal fabrication industry. Good knowledge and understanding of engineering-specified tolerances. Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong understanding of machine setup, including changing setups for multiple product lines and material requirements. Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures. Physically fit to perform all required duties. Independent self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Team player, able to work effectively with employees at all levels.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Demonstrate the ability to perform assigned punching operations with minimal errors while meeting quality standards and production deadlines. Maintain a safe workplace by strictly adhering to the Company's Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month
