Perform machine line adjustments and tool changes on CNC/SPM machines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Achieve targeted production quantities within the assigned shift while minimizing downtime and defects.
Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness in compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Strictly adhere to all Work Instructions (WI) and Check Sheets relevant to production operations.
In the event of product defects, carry out immediate purging and sorting activities as per the defined procedure.
Verify and ensure completion of Daily Check Sheets for all assigned machines.
Observe all shift rules, company regulations, and safety protocols at all times.
Monitor and record tool life data accurately and submit the Tool Life Monitoring Report at the end of each shift.
Follow proper procedures for machine resetting and restarting as displayed on the shop floor.
Coordinate with In-line QA for any quality-related issues; stop the machine when defects are detected and resume production only after corrective action and QA approval.
During tool replacement, verify tool life status and obtain new tools from the Tool Supermarket in accordance with established control procedures.
Complete and submit the Material Requisition Form when performing tool changes.
Notify the immediate superior before making any program corrections in CNC machines and perform changes only after approval.
Conduct routine checks on all Poka-Yoke devices (e.g., air seat sensors, tool breakage sensors) to ensure functionality and prevent bypassing.
Report any machine breakdown immediately to the superior and maintenance team for corrective action.
Record and report shift-wise production performance versus target, including downtime details, in the prescribed format.
Assist in training new operators on machine loading/unloading procedures and product handling to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Promptly report any production or quality issues to the Shift Engineer and Senior Engineer
