:Job SummaryIf you are looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Nilai, Negeri Sembilan location, you will be responsible to fully optimize machine usage without compromising product quality inclusive of machine upkeeping. Join our growing team!In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To support company policies, goals and objectives.
• To follow and always obey company safety regulations.
• To update Oracle and Job Pack
• To participate in plant safety, housekeeping and cost reduction activities.
• To maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
• To perform duties in ensuring production meets Emerson Quality Standards
• To support other machinists in daily production work and keep good relations with other employees.
• To perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.
• To attend to daily manufacturing orders issued and other given task such as rework orders etc.
• To fully optimize machine usage without compromising product quality.
• Daily housekeeping task inclusive of machine upkeeping.
• Daily maintenance on the machine
• Update Job Pack and move Oracle system after process completed

Who You Are:You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; are outstanding at spotting and seizing opportunities. You build immediate rapport, even when facing difficult or tense situations. You actively listen and check for understanding. You continually scan the environment for technology breakthroughs.For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC/ conventional lathe machining and have hands on in handling machining tools and ability to read and interpret parts drawing.
• Able to perform minor troubleshooting and knows how to use measuring gages, such as calipers etc.
• Possess positive attitude towards necessary changes required to enhance productivity and requirements for a healthy environment.
• Able to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering / Machining
• Able to understand EIA & Mazatrol programming language.
