Job Description

Report directly to Manager of Technical Service Department. To perform preventive maintenance and remedial maintenance on data centre equipment. To troubleshoot and fix problems related to data centre equipment. To response promptly to any equipment breakdown during office hours or after office hours, including Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays. To assist Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager & Technical Service Manager on conducting preventive maintenance and services such as Power Audit Services, Thermal Scanning Services, Grounding measurement, & electrical switchboards preventive maintenance, off-line load test and on-line load test. To standby at site for activities such as genset testing, TNB power outage, HT switchgear servicing, migration of loads and other activities related to the data centre. To install & perform testing and commissioning of data centre equipment such as CCTV , card access , UPS, CRAC units, Split Unit Air-conds, Water Detection System, Vesda system and etc. Require also to learn, practice and master on Data Centre electrical engineering and Information Technology products and to perform preventive maintenance, remedial maintenance and troubleshooting on the above mentioned products and equipment. To perform other works as instructed by the Technical Service Team Lead & Technical Service Manager as and when required.
