Position: Maintenance Engineer (Leadframe Manufacturing Industry)

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Normal working hours

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Maintenance Engineer

to carry out preventive maintenance for precision machines and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth production operations. The ideal candidate will have solid automation and machine maintenance experience within the

leadframe manufacturing industry

.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement improvements for manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures to optimize quality and cost. Review, schedule, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve machine-related issues. Perform hands-on machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Plan machine maintenance schedules, manage MTBF, and execute predictive maintenance. Implement preventive actions to avoid recurring issues. Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in

Automation, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering

. Minimum

5 years

of precision machine maintenance and automation experience. Experience in

leadframe manufacturing

is highly desirable. Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers. Proven leadership capability with the ability to provide direction, identify issues, and coordinate solutions effectively. Ability to work long hours in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Physical & Personal Requirements

Mature, energetic, and enthusiastic with a pleasant personality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to work independently or as part of a team in a high-volume environment with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Articulate, confident, results-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
