ROLE PURPOSE: Performs routine scheduled maintenance on power generation and distribution networks, electrical drives and motor control centres, uninterruptable power supply, battery chargers and batteries, HVAC, navigation aids and lighting equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical power generation and distribution networks, electrical drives control, protection relays and their control logic diagrams and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems for the power generators, UPS and battery chargers. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operations & Maintenance Operate, maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical drives and motor control centres for pumps, fans, winches and hoisting systems. Operate, maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair power generation (power generators) and distribution (transformers, distribution boards, bus bars) and their associated control and protection equipment and systems. Operate, maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), battery chargers, batteries and control systems. Operate, maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair lighting equipment and systems, including navigation aids and obstruction lights and their control systems. Operate, maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair HVAC (air-conditioners) and control equipment and systems. Project Delivery (Project Phase) All electrical related project documents (design documents, technical notes, procedures, drawings, etc) that are required as references during operations are being identified and ready for safe keeping at Pegaga platform library. Participate in all project delivery activities including pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of all electrical equipment and systems. HSSE Attend all mandatory and required HSSE trainings including all Take HEARRT modules. Observe and implement ME HSSE Golden rules at both project sites and on Pegaga platform Perform assigned HSSE Critical Roles including as member of Pegaga Emergency Response Team Participate in any Pegaga related HSSE reviews and audits Training and Development Responsible to align own development with company staff development plan and manage own competency development through gap identification and analysis. Responsible to close those identified skills and competency gaps by identifying and attending appropriate trainings. Individual Performance (IPC) / Individual Development Plan (IDP) to be self-managed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Education Diploma in Engineering from accredited Technical Institution in electrical/electronic training or equivalent or Preferable with *BTEC ONC (Electrical Level-2/3) qualification Certified for work on High Voltage electrical system as Chargeman or equivalent, as per Sarawak Electricity Ordinance 1999 or Electricity Supply Act 1990 Experience Minimum of 10 years work experience as electrical technician in operations and maintenance of electrical power generation and distribution system on offshore gas production processing facilities. Skills Computer - proficient in the use Microsoft Office and Outlook and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication. Fluent in English. Ability to understand and effectively use electrical equipment and system operations and maintenance manuals and procedures. Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings (to component level) of power generation and distribution network, hardware relay logic diagrams, PLC control programs, motor control circuit diagrams, etc. Ability to analyse operations problems, identify solutions and implement recommendations to deliver required results. Skills in problem solving and troubleshooting of failed or faulty electrical equipment and system. Fluent in English communication.
