MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at UTM HOLDINGS SDN BHD - Arked Meranti in Skudai. This is a contract role, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our food court, work office facilities, and solar power grid system.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine maintenance and repairs to food court and work office infrastructure, equipment, and systems. Carry out inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting for the

solar power grid

, including solar panels, inverters, wiring, and monitoring systems. Identify and address any issues or malfunctions in a timely manner. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and activities. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance tasks, solar power system performance, and repairs. Suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and reliability of operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum SPM, SKM Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field. At least 2 years of working experience in facilities maintenance; experience in

solar power system maintenance

is an advantage. Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and solar power systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and maintenance reports. Proficient in diagnosing and resolving a wide range of maintenance issues. Good physical stamina to handle manual work and equipment repairs. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Able to work in shifts, on public holidays, and weekends when required. Possess own transport and valid driving licence is preferred.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
