• Completed secondary school education
• A diploma or degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Studies, or a related field is an added advantage
• Strong interest and passion for the swine farming industry
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive training program to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of swine farm management, including animal husbandry, feed management, biosecurity protocols, and operational efficiency
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and productivity
• Support breeding programs and farrowing processes.
• Contribute to data collection and record-keeping.
• Collaborate with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvements, optimise resource utilisation, and enhance overall farm performance
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive the growth and sustainability of the business
• Participate in industry networking and knowledge-sharing events to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in swine farming
