About You The Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for deliverables related to identifying communications opportunities and shaping CARSOME Group\'s reputation in the market. In this role you will support and drive Group-level media relations, issues and crisis management, corporate reporting, thought leadership, and content development. You will also collaborate with peers across CARSOME\'s regional markets and C-level offices to align communications initiatives and messaging for cohesion and consistency. You are a problem solver and team player, a narrative-building expert with a good grasp of the traditional and new media landscape, and experience in reputation management. This role reports to the Regional Head of Communications, of CARSOME Group. Your Day-to-Day Manages CARSOME\'s voice and corporate communications platforms in line with the Group\'s communications policies and reputational objectives Identify opportunities to amplify CARSOME\'s work as a group, and drive industry thought leadership opportunities that enable CARSOME and CARSOMErs to interact meaningfully with its stakeholders Supports in the development and growth of media and stakeholder relationships that enable CARSOME Group to connect better with the communities and markets it serves - inclusive of building and maintaining relationships within the industry, pitching interviews, drafting press releases and media materials, and organising briefings and engagement sessions Researches and develops briefing documents and suggested responses for strategic media interviews/engagements featuring CARSOME Group\'s spokespersons Leads in the planning, copy editing and quality control of articles, corporate reporting documents and publications, talking points and speech preparation, and reputation building projects Media monitoring and news dissemination Manages agency/vendor relationships where required Carries out tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Head of Communications in supporting the needs of the division or business Your Know-How Relevant tertiary qualifications (Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or equivalents) 6 years or more of communications related work experience (PR agencies, corporate communications departments, media or equivalents) Excellent written, oral and presentation skills combined with stakeholder and project management capabilities Curiosity, creativity, agility, meticulousness and being well organised are essentials for this role
