Reporting to the Director. this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporate Secretarial Service and its\' growth.Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination and management of projects as directed, including tracking progress and reporting on milestones.
  • Support in seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficient resource utilisation i.e. update standard operating procedures of company secretarial processes and automate standard templates, feeding both into training materials.
  • Conduct or facilitate training sessions as needed.
  • Assist in offering technical advisories, solutions, and anticipating team members\' needs.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Prepare, review, and manage documentation and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of required reports.
  • Coordinate and communicate with other divisions and departments, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.
  • Assist in handling a wide spectrum of corporate secretarial works for various jurisdiction including offshore companies, as follows:-
  • Ensure compliance with provisions of corporate enactments, statutory reporting / filing and corporate governance.
  • Prepare minutes, resolutions and statutory documents etc.
  • Update and maintain statutory records.
  • Ensure documents and files are correctly named, saved and maintained in the database.
  • Provide KYC support and maintain KYC documentation.
  • Provide other administrative support to the corporate secretarial teams.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties
Key requirements:
  • Degree in Law and/or Certificate in Legal Practice (or equivalent)
  • Degree in related discipline or professional qualification would be considered subject to fulfilment of other key requirements
  • STEP qualification is an added advantage
  • Strong written and spoken English level
  • Chinese proficiency is an added advantage
  • Develop and maintain adequate trust knowledge to deliver full suite of trust and corporate services to clients
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of trust and corporate structures
  • Degree in business administration or law
  • Recognized Degree with MAICSA/ICSA qualifications or currently pursing MAICSA / ICSA is an added advantage.
  • Detail oriented able to work with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Develop interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic; professional and approachable
  • Able to multitask and is meticulous
  • Inquisitive and self-motivated
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory and compliance regime
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
