Key Responsibilities: . Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures for our buildings and malls. . Coordinate security activities with outsourced security companies to safeguard our properties, tenants, employees, and guests. . Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced security companies and ensure compliance with internal policies and government requirements. . Analyse data and propose security and safety improvements, including the implementation of new technologies. . Prepare reports on security status for management and review security-related documents. . Investigate and resolve security issues such as theft and trespassing. . Coordinate with outsourced security companies during emergencies and plan security operations for specific events. . Prepare budgets for security operations and monitor expenses. . Assist outsourced security companies in emergency management and contingency planning. . Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance and address safety issues. . Ensure public safety precautions and corporate safety strategies are implemented. . Collaborate with the Integrity unit for any necessary investigations. . Perform any other tasks as instructed. Qualifications and Experience: . A degree in a relevant discipline such as criminology, law, security, or safety management, or relevant experience in security management. . Strong knowledge of security best practices and legislation. . Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal. . Ability to work effectively in a team. . Excellent understanding of security protocols and procedures. . Strategic thinking and the ability to manage and prevent hazards. . Experience in armed forces or police force is an advantage. . Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a security manager or similar position. . Open to Local Malaysian Candidates only
