Manage and supervise the Credit Review team and ensure service standards turnaround time are consistently met.
Review large commercial and corporate credit proposals and provide input / recommendation prior to submission for approval.
Conduct special reviews on case-to-case basis following the identification of triggering events or any other adverse news affecting the borrower.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies/guidelines of the Bank as well as statutory guidelines issued by regulators and/or relevant authorities.
Regular review and enhancement of work processes and procedures to improve workflow and productivity.
Requirements:
A recognised degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Studies or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in processing/review of large commercial and corporate loans in a financial institution or financial services industry.
Professional Credit Certification (PCC) qualification will be an added advantage.
Conversant with financial analysis.
Able to lead and manage teams with minimum supervision.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
