Management Level Manager

& Summary A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Data Intelligence and Analysis - Practice Support team provides PwC a series of organisational technology capabilities that include business intelligence, data management, data warehouse, and data assurance. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help with projects that involve information technology strategy and infrastructure, enterprise architecture, enterprise applications, large scale programme and portfolio management, information technology security, data analytics, computer forensics, and emerging technologies like cloud, mobility and social networking.

Involved in enterprise data management activities such as business and technical requirements gathering, data collections and ingestions, design data architecture, develop data pipelines and data model, as well as deploy and maintain/monitor performance of the pipelines.

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: Automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.

Work with data from multiple systems of records so that the data can be used for reporting purposes, following best practice standards.

Work with multiple stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical best practices.

Enjoy working in Agile as part of a scrum team and delivering high-quality products incrementally in an interactive manner.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor degree in Information Technology/Computer Science from a recognised university.

Relevant certification in data engineering and data science not limited to Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, Microsoft Azure Data Scientist etc.

Work experience

At least 7 years related work experience.

ETL developer with experience in these technical requirements:

Hands-on experience in Azure cloud services like Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Analytics Services (AAS), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Synapse, Azure ML, SSIS, SSMS and Azure Databricks.

Experience with SQL development, scripting and programming.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools not limited to Alteryx, Talend, Pentaho.

Familiar with visualization tools not limited to PowerBI, Tableau.

Familiar with the data science and statistical tools such as Python, R.

Familiar with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) tools not limited to Azure Purview, EA Sparx, Informatica and/or IBM Sphere.

Good to have skills

DAX for PowerBI.

PowerShell for extension and automation of ADF.

Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Data Lake or Data Platform will be an added advantage.

Hands-on experience with public and private Cloud such as AWS, GCP, Cloudera.
