The duties of the Manager, Credit Operations include, but not limited to the following: 1. To oversee day to day operations in relation to credit administration to ensure all the daily task is performed accordingly; 2. Providing guidance and supports to staffs and also branches on complying with internal policies, regulatory requirements (Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission and also Bank Negara) and also daily operational queries; 3. Actively engage with business stakeholders in handling initiatives/projects related to regulatory changes and also to support business strategy; 4. A BCP coordinator for Operations who has covered the tasks for preparation of risk assessment and updating of BCP manual for stockbroking section, arrangement and coordination and execution of BCP plan; 5. Operational Activities: Supervise and manage the units to perform and deliver operational support that meet business needs; Supervise and manage the units/ teams to ensure day to day operational functions in compliance with the company policy and procedure and regulatory (ies) requirements; Involve in problem solving of the issue related to Credit Operations; To do planning and identify improvement areas in operational tasks to meet the requirement of business. 6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the relevant authorities and policies and procedures of the Company; To meet both internal and external audit requirements during their scheduled periodic reviews; To carry out duties assigned in relation to Anti-Money Laundering\'s ACT, policies and procedures; To carry out recovery actions as outlined in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in the event of disaster; To review Manual (Policy & Procedure) on the specific time frame. 7. Service Quality: To ensure works carry out and decisions made are within the framework of the approved procedures and meet the turnaround time (TAT); To attend to DRs/ client\'s request on a promptly, accurate and professional manner; To provide guidance and support to subordinate, branches on operation related matters; To handle ad -hoc project as assigned relating to unit/department. 8. General: Assist supervisor in implementing tactical plans to deliver operational support that meets the business needs; Collaborate with key business stakeholders to implement operational plans/ actions to meet the requirement of business; Collaborate with other key support units to ensure holistic approach to planning and implementation of operational requirements to meet business needs; To handle any tasks as assigned from time to time; To handle ad -hoc project as assigned relating to unit/ department; Undertakes any assignments as and when instructed by the superior and/or the Management. You are required to adhere to the Company\'s Information Technology (\'IT\') Policy and Procedure, Bursa Malaysia Berhad IT Security Standard (ITSS) and/ or any other related regulatory requirement pertaining to IT and intellectual property rights.
