We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Finance Change Delivery.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support Controls change delivery initiatives within Global Finance to deliver programme outcomes, and assist programme leads in timely and high quality delivery of the programmes, adhering to HSBC Change Framework.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues and dependencies, and escalate to the programme lead and take action to minimise impact.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure consensus and deliver programme outcomes.
  • Support the Global Finance Controls Delivery Lead in embedding end-to-end process and controls mindset in Global Finance Change Delivery (FCD) teams through communication and engagement with all FCD teams.
  • Uplift the capability of FCD teams to ensure that they embed the control framework consistently to maintain a robust control environment.
  • Assist FCD teams in establishing relevant Controls workstream in their respective projects.
Requirements

Requirements \xe2\x80\x93 External

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Exposure in change and transformation projects and good working knowledge of project management frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
  • Prior work experience on non-financial risk management and controls (e.g. Operational Risk, Control Office, Audit) preferred.
  • High level of personal drive and motivation to ensure delivery of a broad range of outputs.
  • Proven ability and experience in problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of HSBC structures, processes and objectives across the Group.
  • Strong knowledge of Global Finance \xe2\x80\x93 functionally and operationally.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
