We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager Finance Change Delivery

This is a Core Accounting & Data Sourcing role wherein the job holder will undertake end to end responsibilities for finance system change activities in Finance Transformation Platform (FTP) General Ledger and Reporting. The role will focus on the delivery of financial data from FTP system to serve financial reporting, operational accounting, and other downstream finance requirements. The role will be involved in financial reporting rules change, testing and user deployment activities in relation to system changes that are impacting FTP platform.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Requirement gathering for various global projects related to financial/business finance reporting or operational accounting and perform in-depth analysis, impact assessments from finance system change perspective.
  • Provide proposals of the required solutions to key stakeholder, getting agreement and implementation thereof.
  • Perform testing and validation on the rules build; and lead discussions with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and signed-off as needed.
  • Translating financial reporting and operational accounting requirements into technical requirements for product system and FTP inbound development.
  • Developing accounting rules to translate banking transactions from product system into general ledger entries and account arrangement records.
  • Ensuring data population satisfies financial reporting data needs, outbound feeds, Group Reporting Chart of Accounts (GRCA) mappings and assurance / testing of FTP GRCA solution.
Customers & Stakeholders
  • Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships across Finance functions to expand the understanding of customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and requirements.
  • Maintain and continue to develop an effective working partnership with IT for the system design and solution and Testing team for resolution of defects.
Leadership & Teamwork
  • Take accountability and ownership of the tasks and responsibility assigned.
  • Effective communication within the team and with relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage priorities, maintain activity schedules to ensure delivery in line with implementation plan; establish a review mechanism of tasks undertaken by team members and work collaboratively with the teams across the different geographical locations.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
  • Work flexibly in a fast moving, agile and changing project environment, continually assessing priorities, progress, dependencies, issues and risks and adjusting course or escalating where necessary.
  • Ensure adequate documentation and sign off on proposed design.
  • Ensure adequate controls are assessed and documented. Take accountability for ensuring change / implementation in compliance with Group Standards and Regulations
Requirements

Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience preferably in finance reporting, functional and analytical experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Financial Reporting and / or Finance Systems Implementation projects;
  • Knowledge and experience of Finance Systems in a project or site based role, with a focus on financial reporting, source system interfacing, downstream systems requirement and reporting solution or automation;
  • Knowledge of FTP system data flow, its various components, purpose and architecture and knowledge on Group Operating Chart of Account (GOCA) and Group Reporting Chart Account (GRCA) will be an added advantage;
  • Understand changes in accounting policy, accounting flow and financial reporting requirements;
  • Business change management experience; ability to drive change projects, and have experience of ascertaining, defining and constructing business requirement documentation. Possess analytical reasoning skills and able to translate reporting requirements into functional requirements for system development;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing situations and to understand issues quickly;
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience. Experience in managing, negotiating and influencing senior business relationships across geographies;
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office tools and / or any automation tool.
