Oversee group financial consolidation and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. They will manage audit processes, maintain accounting policies, ensure tax compliance, and drive process improvements, while supporting ad-hoc financial analysis/reporting as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Consolidation & Financial Reporting:
Oversee the group consolidation and financial reporting process, including review of consolidated financial statements, consolidated notes, analysis and statutory financial statements (Audited Financial Statements). Ensure accurate and timely completion of group financial reports and in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards. Capable of providing hands-on support whenever appropriate.
Management Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of monthly management report with in-depth performance review and analysis as well as meaningful information that guide the Management in strategic decision-making and financial risk management.
Group Audit:
Act as a key liaison person for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes and timely resolution of any audit issues that arise. Work with auditors to clarify any discrepancies or misunderstandings in reports or processes.
Custodian of Group Accounting Policies:
Maintain and enforce the group's accounting policies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all financial reporting across the organizations.
Group Budgeting and Forecasting:
Involve in group budgeting process, including the consolidation of related companies' budgets. Ensure alignment of related companies' budgets with overall corporate financial goals.
Process Improvement:
Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process. Willing to engage directly as needed to ensure success.
Tax compliance:
Ensure the tax computation for CP204/CP204A and yearly tax return submission on time.
Ad-hoc Projects:
Oversee and support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by Management.Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Able to step in and take an active role when the situation demands.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Completed or on-going Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) study can be advantageous.
Proficiency in accounting software - SAP is an advantage.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
