We are looking for someone with:

Possess at least a degree in accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA).

At least 6 years of relevant working experience in finance/accounting/auditing.

Candidates should possess life insurance experience will be added advantage.

In depth knowledge of MFRSs will be necessary and experience in performing gap analysis.

Experience in preparation of financial statements and Bank Negara and LFSA reporting.

Possess good inter-personal and communication skill, including writing skills.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and a dynamic team player.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a requirement.

Priority will be given to candidates with Insurance or Takaful experience who are fluent with local statutory guideline and financial reporting standards.

On the job you will:

Involved in financial management reporting and statutory reporting.

Preparation of Annual and Interim financial statements of the Group and subsidiaries

Provide financial analysis and commentaries to stakeholders

Review and maintain management controls for financial closing and reporting process.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, MFRSs and any other financial related requirements.

Involved in the technical interpretation and implementation of the accounting standards.

Provide support for various projects and other duties as assigned

Provide support for other actuarial related matters and ad-hoc project from time to time
