The Operations & Credit Operations- OneHUB is responsible for creation of a framework to implement centralized and integrated business operations centers on three continents, delivering the most efficient processes to our customers. Our aim is to have the First OPS Hub "live" with operational readiness reached for pilot markets, designed as a scalable blueprint for Global Operations Hubs. With the Hub, we will reduce operational costs while ensuring a standardised luxury customer experience. It will also help us to be one step ahead of our competitors and to balance phases of high and low demand, and therefore improving overall competitiveness and efficiency. Additionally, our operating model will be enhanced with the best of industry and global MBM best practices.

Working for one of the Must-Wins for MBM, you will be responsible for subprojects and a wide range of exciting tasks with a considerable impact on the entire organization.
Your tasks will be:
  • Represent F&C in the set-up of the new local Operations Hub entity in Malaysia, taking into account the objectives of the stakeholders.
  • Assume the role of the FC Business Partner supporting and advising the project leads on the financial implications of decisions taken in the course of the project.
  • Ensure that procedures & internal processes for all functions within the area of responsibility (Finance & Controlling, Accounting, Financial Reporting & Tax, Procurement and Treasury) are in place, appropriately functioning and compliant with local law and internal guidelines.
  • This includes the group M&A process and requirements.
  • Explore whether incentive opportunities are available to the company and evaluate their costs and benefits to give a recommendation.
  • Ensure the implementation of Accounting and other Finance systems as well as their interfaces in close alignment with the footprint of other existing legal entities.
  • Responsible for the local roll-out of shared services for Accounting from the Mercedes-Benz GSP in the Philippines.
  • Ensure accurate and transparent recording of all business transactions in the relevant period. This includes corporate reporting and publication of audited company results on time and in accordance with general accounting principles, accounting standards, existing laws & regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Oversee the adequate preparation of periodic financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss) according to local and group standards and requirements.
  • Ensure quality of accounting information via various internal control mechanisms.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely tax computation and submission (e.g. GST, corporate tax, withholding tax, stamp duty fees).
  • Where required, liaise with auditors (internal and external) as well as tax advisors and regulators.
  • Manage business relationships with key stakeholders in the markets, HQ and the Hub.
  • Ensure development of team through regular training on quality concepts.
This role will gradually transform from a project role into a run role and the job scope is expected to change over time.

Qualifikationen





What you bring to the table:
  • Education: Accounting / Finance degree and/or Professional Accounting Qualification
  • Work experience: 7 years of recent experience in financial accounting in any sectors
  • Experience in accounting in financial services sector is an advantage
  • Familiar with accounting Standards \xe2\x80\x93 IFRS and local GAAP and local statutory regulations and requirement.
  • Familiar with preparation of audited financial statements, transfer pricing or GST/SST regulations
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Office (especially Excel on advanced level), SAP;
