POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the Costing/Financial Planning of our Malaysia operations and report into the Senior Finance Manager in Malaysia Plant.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Manufacturing PNL and monitor variance.
• Lead on operations budget and quarterly financial forecast.

- Develop detailed forecast model and ensure the model is flexible to cater for changes
- Liaise with Supply Chain team on the factory loading forecast
- Liaise with the Value Engineering team on the current and potential cost reduction projects
- Liaise with Procurement team on raw materials prices
- Prepare Management P&L forecast for review
- Prepare bridges and waterfall chart to explain on the cost movement
- Prepare productivity chart to ensure the factory is on track on the improvement target
- Upload forecast in Planning system and reconcile * Manage and monitor inventory as per corporate\'s direction by working together with inventory team and material planners.

• Review half-yearly Standard Cost update to revalue the inventory impact.
• Lead on preparing financial justification on proposed capex in term of key metrics such as cash flows, payback period, NPV and ROI
• Assist General manager to drive Operation in achieving the target set by Management and also perform scenario analysis to help on decision making. Timely monthly financial reporting and KPI indicators to support Operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors on costing and inventory matters
• Work with the System and Processes team in improving the way of working and reduces redundancy work.
• Responsible for procedures and policies for cost accounting.
• Involve in SAP S4 Hana project. SAP S4 Hana project.
• Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies.
• Other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• 8-10 years of working experiences, preferably 2-4 years as Finance Leaders
• Experience is a manufacturing and/ costing background is preferred.

Desirable:

• Previous financial accounting experience in a high tech or global company
• SAP experience

EDUCATION:

Essential:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance or professional equivalent
• CIMA / ACCA / CPA or similar designation

Desirable:

• MBA or related advanced degree would be an advantage.
