Job Description



Job Summary
You will be responsible for, but not limited to driving financial planning and forecasting processes, preparation of management expense budget, analysing and evaluation of financial results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial planning process including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting. Review reasonableness of the underlying assumptions used for planning projections;
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly management reports and presentation materials to relevant stakeholders;
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets, highlight significant deviations and recommending corrective actions to improve performance;
  • Implement appropriate metrics to monitor performance against forecast and plan, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and targets;
  • Work together across various functions to support the project implementation or process improvements;
  • Any other ad-hoc matters.


Key Requirements
  • Must possess at least Degree in Accountancy/ Professional Qualifications (ACCA, CPA, etc.) or other equivalent professional qualifications
  • Candidates should have at least 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience preferably with audit and insurance industry experience will be an added advantage
  • Well versed in MFRS
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork and good interpersonal skills
  • Positive working attitude, willingness to learn, and driven to meet deadline
  • Independent with minimal supervision, and able to cope with stress
