BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1989, and operates main office in Bandar Utama and a manufacturing plant in Pasir Gudang in Johor, as well as an operational site in Kulim, Kedah. BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre Sdn Bhd began its operation in 2005. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the Shared Services Center provides functional services in the areas of finance, controlling, information services, human resources, environment, health & safety, procurement and import-export order management to BASF Group companies in 19 markets across Asia Pacific. BASF Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, established in 1997, provides infrastructure and utilities support services to BASF sites in Malaysia. BASF holds 60% of its joint venture BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd, which operates a state-of-the-art Verbund production site in the Gebeng Industrial Zone, Pahang, and 50% of Toray BASF PBT Resin Sdn Bhd. Objectives of the Position

• Monthly master planning for local formulation, refilling and formulation for ID and IN portfolio
• Ensure on time production and delivery of final products to market as per customer demand
• Achieve high supply reliability and inventory management for all products under the role\'s ownership
• Maintain SAP & SNP planning related master data for the given product portfolio.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

Supply Planning:

• Monthly planning of formulant, products formulated and filled at ID and IN for rolling 36-months in line with the demand requirements (including upside/ downsides, agreed product allocation)
• Ensure timely supply to customer demand with minimum excess inventory at end of season to achieve regional inventory targets
• Collaborate with AI planner and detailed planner to ensure timely execution of formulation plan and material availability on-time and in full
• Optimize inventory of all products to enable high supply reliability while reducing cost of capital
• Ensure usage of planning system to plan the supply of all materials and ensure all planning related master data are up to date.

Performance Management:

• Coordinate all planning and production related non-conformance management activities and ensure timely closure of NCMs with concrete mitigation measures.
• Participate in monthly inventory reduction calls and supply review meetings to address key issues
• Responsible to achieve all core SC KPI and process related targets for the given portfolio

Continuous Improvement and Projects:

• Support/ drive implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning, inventory management, portfolio management and/or other SC activities
• Act as SC representative for all ID and IN operations projects.

Job Requirements

• Education : Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience planning, tolling management, logistics management
• Supply Chain planning and scheduling, operations. Understanding of Crop Protection business and SAP knowledge are strong advantage, Good command in English
