Key member of S&OP process and responsible for Supply Review
Manage and monitor inventory operations to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns, working capital performance and revenue growth
Drives the development and continuous improvement of KPIs associated with inventory management
Job Responsibilities:
Key contributor to S&OP process and owner of Supply Review process
Manage and develop inventory management plans, policies, guidelines and processes to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns and demand.
Manage and monitor cost and efficiency improvements for inventory management to achieve the optimal level of inventory holdings versus fulfilment
Optimizes inventory levels delivering on customer service targets in response to demand changes and employ an appropriate strategy for each inventory class
Implements strategic and tactical plans to develop/improve process in order to improve inventory levels.
Drives continuous improvement in inventory supply planning results through the use of systems and cross-functional processes
Demonstrates knowledge of the key drivers of inventory and its impact on warehousing and distribution capacity and financial reporting.
Leads process reviews and projects in the Supply planning review area resulting in improved efficiencies and KPIs.
key metrics such as gross and net inventory, Days on hand (DOH), and Days of Forward Cover (DOFC), NOC days, SLOB.
Manage and drive team to achieve excellent performance
Job Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
Minimum ten years\' experience in a similar role
Minimum three to five years\' experience in a managerial capacity
Functional skills and knowledge:
Demonstrate in-depth understanding and working of Sales & operation Planning (S&OP) process
Demonstrate in-depth understanding and working of Supply Review component process of the overall S&OP
Demonstrate in-depth experience in of inventory planning methodologies and systems
Demonstrate capability of adopting different inventory planning strategies.
Demonstrate working understanding of distribution centers, distribution and transport
Proven experience in inventory management , procurement systems and logistics operations
Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP and Net Requirement/Distribution planning
Proven experience in the consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
