We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs.We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Manager, Personal Loans working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.Principal Responsibilities:

• To drive the Personal Financing business of MYH, working in partnership with Distribution Channel, Operations, Credit Risk & Finance.
• To ensure effective communication and delivery of the product initiatives, as per the business direction and local priorities as aligned with Asia Cards.
• To assist in performing planning & executions on Personal Financing initiatives, such as pricing test, process improvement, and policy improvement.
• To ensure full compliance to internal requirements as per FIM & BIM and to external regulations & policies issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Association of Banks Malaysia (ABM) and other relevant authorities.
• Maintain awareness and comply with HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
• Perform responsibilities with integrity and high standards of ethics, complying fully with the Compliance Policy as well as with both the spirit and letter of the law, rules and practices that govern the HSBC Group globally.
• Maintain awareness of the Operational Risk Scenario associated with the role and minimise risk where possible.

Requirements

• At least a university degree.
• At least 5 years of product management experience an FI or large corporate firm environment.
• Knowledge in Islamic Financing and the different Shariah concepts is an added advantage.
• Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into meaningful information and actions
• Excellent communication skills & ability to work with other stakeholders in the bank.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, competitors and target market.
• Portray the evidence of strong business decision making and have good planning and organization skills.
