Must Requirement



1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing or Chemical).

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in polysilicon/chemical plant, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

3. General & special understanding of chemical plant equipment and process

Job Responsibilities



Provide leadership and clear direction to sta2 by fostering a high-performance
culture through e2ective coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

Track, measure, and evaluate the e2ectiveness of process improvement initiatives. Implement structured methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to support
systematic process optimization.

Oversee all technical activities, including maintenance strategies, troubleshooting,
root cause analysis, and project support.

Approve technical recommendations and equipment modifications based on
safety, cost e2iciency, and performance criteria.

Manage CAPEX projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Maintain and update Process Safety Information (PSI), including mass balance,
chemical registry, MSDS, and PHA reports.

Communicate updated PSI to process owners and relevant support departments. Support the identification and management of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) with
cross-functional teams.

Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) activities, including HAZOP
studies.

Track section performance through KPIs such as downtime, maintenance cost,
reliability metrics, and response times.

Prepare and deliver performance reports and insights to management. Apply strong analytical skills to interpret equipment performance data, identify
trends, and implement corrective actions for operational e2iciency.

Ensure compliance with engineering standards, best practices, and relevant
industry codes.

Identify skill gaps and establish training and development plans for team members.

Job Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing or Chemical). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in polysilicon/chemical plant, with at least
3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

General & special understanding of chemical plant equipment and process Strong analytical, problem solving, and technical skills. Willingness to work in shifts and overtime if required. Strong safety awareness. Holding a valid Technologist Title under the Malaysian Board of Technologists is an
added advantage

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
