In your new role you will: Key member in Package development projects. Cost Per Piece (CPP)accountability & Project support and scheduling (Suppliers) - On Time &On Target Accountable for BE Concept Savings Target for assigned category Transfer of supplier know how into R&D, Synergize IFX R&D Roadmaps with supplier Roadmaps - Early Supplier Involvement Supplier market & demand analysis (Technical in) and identification/analysis of potential suppliers Together with Category Managers, responsible for Project Initial Inquiries and Budgetary Quotes Responsible for Cross-site Concept Savings projects execution and follow through Analysis of Equipment and Material cost structure (should cost, best cando, value analysis, Linear Performance Pricing) / database for cost breakdown Drive standardization in R&D and consideration of Material-Toolkit Development of supplier technology, process and material landscape Project Support for Design for Sourcing (DfS) activities for the assigned Category Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or any equivalent field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry. The procurement engineer is tasked with championing and driving concept savings across all IFX backend sites. The procurement engineer will be accountable for the overall concept savings target for the assigned category. Owns activities to enable early involvement to ensure competitive leverage and landscape for IFX. Leads and utilize design for sourcing methods playbook to drive for maximum savings.
