Job Description

As the Manager, Procurement, you will engage and work in partnership with cross-functional organizations to support long-term business goals. You will be instrumental in the development and implementation of various strategic initiatives in the APAC region aiming to optimize end to end processes, innovation, service levels and total cost of ownership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive global subcategory sourcing strategies for merchandisers and promoters focused on APAC
• Direct responsibility for developing and implementing complex regional strategies for marketing and corporate services for the entire APAC region
• Responsibilities include strategic sourcing, strategic supplier management, stakeholder engagement, influencing and contract management
• Provide leadership and ownership during sourcing initiatives, including total cost of ownership model development, category strategy development, fact-based negotiation, supplier evaluation, selection and lead the implementation
• Proactively engage, coordinate, and direct work with cross functional stakeholders to drive sourcing strategies that will deliver the top and bottom-line growth
• Drive the development of global subcategory sourcing strategies and coordinates the implementation with peers in the region
• Develop and manage mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers as well as prioritize approaches to meet business objectives and benefit targets
• Manage supplier performance based on performance objectives and oversee the quarterly business review process for key suppliers
• Engage with internal customers to understand their needs and summarize business requirements as input into enterprise-wide sourcing efforts

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s in Business or any related field
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Procurement or any related field
• Experience in marketing or corporate services procurement is an added advantage
• Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry will be an added advantage
