Product Delivery (PD) works to enable and empower the core of Customer Delivery throughout Asia Pacific, by delivering simplified knowledge, know-how, materials, training, and education. The Product Delivery Project Team in Asia Pacific is a technical project team responsible for managing, supporting, and providing subject-matter expertise in projects on the rollouts of all Mastercard products, including technical integration on product APIs. This involves working with different internal cross-functional teams like Product Management, our internal Delivery partners, as well as Business teams. We will also work with our Enablement arm to ensure products / new features are ready for rollout into new markets and proactively support and manage such projects. This encompasses assessment and validation of all necessary artefacts and test strategy that ensures successful customer implementation and thereby standardization of process for repeatability and scaling in specific markets.

About the Role
1. Responsible for interacting with cross functional teams like product owners, implementation team, as well as business teams, across Asia Pacific markets. Interaction with external customers to understand solution requirements is a key activity.
2. Strong exposure to traditional and emerging payments and products landscape, business constructs and platforms, preferably in Mastercard business models and industry practices. These may include but not limited to Installment/Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL), Acceptance, Real-time payments, Commercial payments, Digital, Loyalty and Services.
3. Good exposure to Asia Pacific regional market practices, regulatory and compliance guidelines.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional partners to identify and remedy delivery pain points during product pilots.
5. Lead and project manage FIM projects, including discovery of market nuances to be highlighted in implementation documents for handover to delivery teams for scaling in future projects similar in nature.
6. Work with implementation teams to create overall project implementation plan, clearly articulating the various workstreams (where applicable), interdependencies, and critical path (key milestones).
7. Closely track and monitor project schedule, risks & issues, and good change control management is essential. Timely resolution of identified issues is expected.
8. Create and distribute project status report to all project stakeholders (both internal and external).
9. Conduct workshops and / or training sessions for external customers to provide product knowledge, including (but not limited to) implementation of API and usage of the product.
10. Train up to be the technical subject-matter expert (SME) of identified products and/or services and be ready to provide technical consultation and support to customers and internal partners.

All About You
1. Good understanding of Payments domain
2. Prior experience on Commercial payments is highly preferred
3. Working knowledge of any of these other product groups: Installment/Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL), Acceptance, Real-time payments, Digital, Loyalty and Services
4. Experienced working with API is a must
5. Passionate about enabling new products and functions for customers. This involves acumen to assess product readiness, Go-To-Market planning, and product rollouts for different markets in Asia Pacific
6. Should be comfortable with ambiguity which generally comes with new product implementation and take lead to build clarity for involved stakeholders, proactively monitoring and documenting market nuances
7. Ability to work independently as a member of a matrix-based diverse and geographically distributed project team
8. Strong communicator and collaborator
9. Basic project management skills and experience required; certified PMP (or equivalent) practitioner preferred
10. Multi-lingual capability (especially languages commonly used in Asia) strongly preferred
11. Occasional travel may be required
