We would love to have team members who are self-motivated and highly driven to maximise efficiency to join our fast-growing team within APAC as Manager, Product Development & Quality Assurance - Private Labels. You\'ll help us build an awesome portfolio of Own Brand products, which not just excites customers and grow our business at speed, but also our finance team, delivering a higher profitability Index.

Responsibilities:

• Designing complete quality control processes around product development, product approval, product launch, product management and review.
• Implementation of the process design across APAC region working in close coordination with the local & regional food safety, product management and operations team members.
• Work deeply on the product development process, assisting and guiding the product managers / experts on designing the product formulation/recipe, specification and product testing protocols.
• Product approvals is going to be a key aspect, being the custodian of the consumer experience and ensuring that it is never compromised.
• Constantly raising the bar on Product & Vendor performance (on quality aspects) and compliance across markets and categories.
• Build strength in the design process through constantly training the on-quality design and control aspects to ensure that the culture of high quality delivery is inculcated at the grassroot level across the organization.
• Ensure that the documentation for this entire process and checks are in order and manage the record keeping in digital format.
• As a custodian of consumer experience, track, action the corrective plan for complaints on every product in the portfolio

Requirements:

• Overall experience of 8-10yrs in the quality control and assurance filed and should be in a quality lead role currently
• Graduated in Food or a Food Technologist by qualification
• Being a Lead Auditor for Food Safety and Certifications in ISO, HACCP & GMP will be added advantage
• Have understanding and experience of quality control of a wide portfolio of products - Staples, Fresh, FMCG Food & NonFood
• Should be adept in drafting department SOPs and designing specification & formulation documents for the relevant product portfolio
• Good understanding and exposure of GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, ISO, BRC, Halal, etc. certifications and practices
• Having exposure of or worked in a Grocery business would be an added advantage
