About You

Public Affairs is the touch point between CARSOME and all relevant Government entities., Public Affairs is responsible to support the Head of Regional Public Affairs in the execution and implementation of strategies to:

• Build, maintain, and enhance CARSOME\'s network with relevant Government stakeholders
• Seek Government support for CARSOME (grants/incentives/softloans, etc)
• Remove bottlenecks to growth for CARSOME by engaging relevant regulatory stakeholders

• Be the bridge between key Government stakeholders and CARSOME. Also responsible for coordinating, executing, and implementing key partnerships/ projects with Government stakeholders. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Build, maintain, and enhance CARSOME\'s network/relationship with relevant Government stakeholders
• Help to identify, arrange, and coordinate visits/ tours/ meetings/ engagements between Carsome and key Govt stakeholders such as Ministers, senior Civil Servants, heads of Govt Agencies, regulatory bodies, and etc.
• Coordinate between relevant internal depts in Carsome to ensure that there is adequate support and preparation for the engagements and ensure that the engagements go smoothly
• Seek Government support for CARSOME (grants/incentives/softloans, etc)This may include, but is not limited to, identifying, proposing, and coordinating the application and implementation of relevant Government grants, incentives, partnerships and soft loans which will benefit CARSOME. Also to follow up periodically and track the status of grants/incentives/support and payouts.
• Remove bottlenecks to growth for CARSOME by engaging relevant regulatory stakeholders. For example, licensing issues, enforcement action, crisis management, and etc

• Strong networking and project management background.
• Prior experience in Government (Ministries, Agencies, GLCs, GLICs, etc), Government-related consultancies, or Government related roles in the private sector (Public policy, Gov Relations, Public Affairs) would be appreciated.
• Proficiency in English and the local language (ID, TH, Malay - depending on market), networking, persuasion, presentation, communications, coordination, execution, and implementation
• Solid understanding of how to network, communicate Carsome\'s position and interests, and coordinate the execution of partnerships
