KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Develop and execute external and internal communications plans, including tactics, idea generation and reach. Write, proofread, and edit content and communications activities, including but not limited to, letters, emails, website, social media, sales materials, fact sheets, collaterals, online assets, etc. Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate execution of content for various stakeholders including customers, partners, agents, etc. Ensure timely creation and deployment of communications and content development for all assets and ensure they accurately reflect the brand, positioning and key messaging. Work with creative agencies and vendors to develop the correct messaging for brand and marketing campaigns. Partner with PR and media agencies to develop and execute content efficiently. Identify and pursue speaking opportunities for spokespersons. Monitor and share weekly news coverage - company, competitors and industry. Evaluate the performance of communications to determine effectiveness and ensure efficient execution. Ensure all collaterals and messaging are in accordance with the brand\'s and communication\'s policies and guidelines. Support social media content to promote engagement and awareness. Work with HR to ensure media training is provided to the spokesperson. Manage translation and ensure the right takaful terminology is used in all languages. Monitor and track the department\'s budget and expenses. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Bachelor of degree or equivalent, in Marketing, Journalism & Communications preferred At least 5 years of relevant working experience particularly in corporate communications and public relations Worked in a financial institution, consumer product or advertising, is preferred Good understanding / knowledge of takaful or insurance is preferred Good understanding of the media landscape and the use of technology to enhance the brand score KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS Excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills. Understanding in Mandarin is a plus. Understanding consumer behaviour and market segmentation Demonstrable experience in handling multi-tasking, short turnaround time and under pressure
