The Regional Office is part of the Global Service and Parts logistics organization (GSP/OGAP), supporting all Asia Pacific spare parts logistics centers for Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. Our responsibilities cover three main streams for our logistics centers namely, "Business Performance", "Competence and Communication" and "Projects and Activities". The "Business Performance" stream includes responsibilities and tasks around reporting and operational KPIs. The "Competence and Communication" stream includes supporting and coordinating regional workgroups of managers aiming to improve our operations competence and communication. Finally, the "Projects and Activities" stream supports the design, steering and implementation steps for projects and activities to improve our logistics operations in the region.

To successfully support these streams, we work with our international colleagues from around the region located in 11 different locations in APAC. We also represent and link our locations with our central counter parts in Germany.

Your daily activities will involve regular communication with the Vice President of Asia Pacific Parts Logistics Operation and the General Manager of our Regional Logistics Center, close alignment with the regional office team, as well as regular communication with all our counterparts spread across the region.

Your task & responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop tools to ensure professional, credible and transparent \xe2\x80\x9cKey performance indicators\xe2\x80\x9d of our operations in the region
- Support, develop and run the \xe2\x80\x9cParts Dealer Satisfaction Survey\xe2\x80\x9d as per the framework agreed with senior management
- Develop and improve the regional competence of the teams across the three functional areas of our target operating model (IM, CRM, LOM)
- Improve communication between team members in the region whilst establishing benchmarking practices for our logistics processes
- Include and invite headquarter functional responsible into the workgroups to support with specific challenges and requirements and utilizing the workgroups as channels of communication
- Coordination across all OGAP locations and headquarter functions to support an effective rollout of required projects
- Communicate to all counter parts the direction of projects and status of activities to ensure successful projects
- Take care of implementation and standards in the warehouses
- Improve efficiency and effectiveness of business processes through projects and activities
- Lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations based on the corporate mission statement
- Ensure target-oriented internal communication and task related qualification to achieve the targets
- Motivate and develop a learning culture with emphasis on the continuous improvement of processes
- Take on representation responsibilities to the benefit of market/region and GSP to cultivate and form new contacts and promote the positive Image of the Mercedes-Benz parts business and Mercedes-Benz AG
- Collaborate in strategic alignment and further development of parts logistics and ensure realization within Logistics Center(s) according to GSP Guidelines
- Collaborate in business policy of parts business and promote the specific interests of the Logistics Center(s) within GSP and the markets/regions
- Support the recruitment and transition of the existing Regional Office as well as recruitment of supporting functions within our operational office in Malaysia
- Support the ramp up of Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific departments in Malaysia

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Economics or equivalent, major in logistics is preferable
- Leadership experience in logistics or/and supply chain management
- High conceptual, entrepreneurial and social competencies
- Passion for working internationally
- Strong interpersonal skills and good team player, especially good sense of intercultural communication in an international work environment
- Project management skills and experience, ability to undertake independent projects
- Able to prioritize and manage a diverse workload within tight deadlines and capacity
- Excellent knowledge of English, German of added value
- Knowledge of Lean Management
- Updated in industry knowledge, movements and resourceful
