The Role Responsibilities
Strategy The primary focus of the role is to manage campaigns and drive business performance through analytics for Consumer, Private and Business Banking (CPBB). The individual will be responsible for end-to-end campaign management and analytics solution development, deployment and performance assessment. The role includes providing thought leadership and is the subject matter expert in designing and recommending appropriate analytical solutions. Business a) Accountable for end-to-end management of campaigns (design, execution & tracking) for assigned businesses:

  • Work with respective business stakeholders on campaign design and financial model of each campaign
  • Execute campaigns and ensure accuracy of extraction
  • Conduct post campaign analysis, provide insights and recommend improvements
  • Drive AI/ML model adoption and effectiveness
b) Consolidate campaign results across CPBB and lead the CPBB campaign management forum.
  • Execute campaign management framework
  • Consolidate post campaign results across all businesses for CPBB
  • Organize campaign management forum and lead discussions on campaign insights
  • Run the campaign management forum
c) Analyse and identify opportunities that will help grow top line and improve bottom line.
  • Synthesize large quantum of data (sales, credit and risk parameters) and identify opportunities
  • Expand acquisition & x-sell base through insights on risk, credit & other parameters
  • Co-design new solutions to drive strategic business KPIs

  • Ensure effective management of operational risks within the function

  • Champion and act as role model of the group\xe2\x80\x99s values
  • Drive an environment of collaboration, both within CPBB Banking and across the wider Group, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner
Risk Management
  • Interpret the Group\xe2\x80\x99s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
  • Ensure data security and data sharing through secured channels e.g. SharePoint in password protected files.
Governance
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Retail Analytics for CPBB to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal candidate
  • Education - Post Graduate or University Degree
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Analytics / Banking / Financial Services Industry
  • In depth business understanding for client, segment, product and channels
