• Manage to purchase of all direct and indirect materials for manufacturing operations.
• Manage inventory level and control systems up to date & ensure inventories accuracy.
• Manage overall warehouse & receiving to ensure smooth operations.

Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• To ensure purchases are in compliance with Company standard policy and procedures.
• Be responsible for the procurement of commodities following the commodity strategies plans and the management of supplier relationship.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt deliveries.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms, develop competitive but collaborative vendor partnerships.
• Ensure all import and export documentation is in compliance with Local Authority and Company procedures.
• Identify and develop training opportunities.
• Communicate well with all levels of staffs with internal & external.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Degree in Business Studies / Purchasing / Materials Management or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years working experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Good understanding of materials management and inventory system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in SAP and S4 system is an added advantage
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of Customs and GST/SST is required
• Manage and liaise with local Authority (Customs, SST, DOE and etc)
