POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY Lead and drive MAHB corporate sustainability initiatives to uphold company\'s corporate sustainability vision, mission, policy and sustainability position in order to become a renowned sustainable company among the peers. Essential Position Functions STRATEGIC Lead the formulation of the company\'s long-term sustainability vision, mission and operating principles, and lead the development of a high-level strategy to support them Ensure sustainability strategies and targets are aligned with the wider corporate strategy. Oversees Corporate Sustainability by focusing on key ESG areas such as low carbon energy transition, GHG emissions reduction actions and plans, climate change and net zero strategies, climate-related financial risks and opportunities. Develop and manage the production of the annual Sustainability report. Form and lead an internal Sustainability Steering Committee that will help shape and oversee the launch of the Sustainability effort of the company. Oversee and define the scope of the Committee members, short term and long term. Identify and prioritize areas for institutional sustainability efforts and recommend strategies for proactively addressing relevant sustainability issues. To support the sustainability matters at MAHB Board FUNCTIONAL Lead the interface with government agencies and departments, local and international, relating to the company\'s responses to questions or statements of position on Sustainability related matters. This includes subjects relating to the broader topic of Sustainability, such as GRI, LEED and GBI. Collaborate with Head of Risk Management, assure that all Sustainability initiatives are in alignment with the company\'s broader Enterprise Risk Management program Facilitate internal and external communications and visibility as the company spokesperson on sustainability issues. Oversees / Facilitate ESG Materiality Assessment and assess the impact of ESG risks and opportunities at corporate and business level Facilitate and guide business to establish their ESG Metrics and target Establish groupwide ESG data collection network, to maintain an accurate and verifiable database. Oversee ESG metrics tracking and create value by consolidating data and updating quarterly dashboards to track performance and provide perspective in ESG key metrics PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Ensure effectiveness of a group of diverse functions and teams through coaching and mentoring session. Key Challenges Involvement in the planning & progress of the projects and activities Inculcating the new working culture to support Sustainability direction Communicating the Sustainability direction to the general population Skills Creative Resourceful Excellent communication skills Excellent command of English Idealist Relevant Industries Unique Requirement Experience in Airport Environmental Management, GRI, SASB, TCFD, GHG Protocols Reporting, Climate-related reporting standards, ISO 14001 standards, Bursa Malaysia\'s Sustainability Quadrants, Employement Act 1955, International Labour Organisation (ILO) Standards, ISO 37001 Standards and ISO 27001 Standards, MSPO, ICAO Annex 16 - Environmental Protection External Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience. Education Bachelor\'s degree in Sustainability/Environmental Science/Engineering/Business Administrations/Energy Studies/Finance/ Economics or equivalent. Master\'s degree will be an added advantage.
