Our client is a well established reputable group of companies engaged in engineering & construction and property development activities through out Peninsular Malaysia. Currently they are seeking to engage a well balanced Training Manager candidate to be responsible for managing the development of training policies and procedures within the Group. This position of Manager for Training and Development will be based at their corporate head office in Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya. Working hours: 8.30am-5.30 pm Monday-Friday. Job responsibilities Reporting to and work closely with the senior HR General Manager of the Group, this role encompasses all employee levels within the organization. As the Manager, your main job duty will be managing training portfolio activities comprising over 2000 staff. Roles will involve the following scope of work:
Responsible and oversee development of training materials ,including online modules and virtual training.
Oversee training programs which include web-based seminars, group sessions, training videos and printed manuals.
Determined training needs for the organization.
Conducting orientation programs and arranging on the job training for new hires.
Conducting regular meets with HOD\'s to identify subjects to be addressed.
Requirements We are looking for candidates with tertiary education qualification in HR Management or Business Administration and have at least 5 years in similar role in handling training and development portfolio of activities. In this instant, preferences will be candidates in age group 30-45. Substantial working experience related to training portfolio with a strong background in organization training activities preferably in property and/or construction. The successful candidate must possess outstanding communication skills, verbal and written in English and conversant in BM and advantageous if also proficient in Chinese/Mandarin. To be successful in this role, you must be someone who can work under pressure, flexible and able to deal with all levels of people across the business with supervisory role in previous employment.
