Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Min. 5 years' experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, kujiale (???), Revit, Photoshop
- Strong leadership, communication (Mandarin & English), and project management skills
- Willing to travel as needed
- Portfolio is required.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri (9am-6pm), Sat (9am-1pm), 5.5 days/week (44 hours) Scopes:
Job Title: Interior Designer Team Lead / Senior Interior Designer
Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor
Our client, a Singapore-based Interior Design firm established in 2021, has recently expanded into Malaysia with a new branch in Johor. Known for their timely, efficient, and reliable design solutions, they specialize in both residential and commercial projects.
As the lead figure in the Johor office, you will oversee the full design process--from client engagement to project handover--while mentoring junior designers and ensuring high standards of delivery. This role will also act as a key liaison with the Singapore HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects from concept to completion
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and HQ
- Develop design concepts, drawings, and visuals
- Manage project timelines and quality
- Mentor junior team members
