You will lead the development of innovative concepts, oversee technical documentation, manage budgets, and ensure successful project delivery from design to completion. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of guiding junior designers while coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and presentation of innovative interior design solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and the company's design philosophy.
Oversee the preparation of detailed AutoCAD drawings, 3D Max/Vray renderings, and design documentation (furniture layouts, lighting plans, material specifications), ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Manage the full project life cycle including budget control, supplier negotiation, cost optimization, and quality assurance without compromising design integrity.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication, presenting design proposals, and addressing feedback throughout the project.
Conduct site supervision and on-site coordination, ensuring timely execution and effectively resolving design/technical issues.
Guide and mentor junior designers, providing feedback, delegating tasks, and ensuring design deliverables meet quality expectations.
Stay updated on design trends, materials, and new technologies, and integrate them into projects where relevant.
Prepare compelling client presentations using Photoshop and other visual tools to communicate design intent and aesthetics.
Source and select furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E), ensuring compliance with project budgets, timelines, and safety standards.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Minimum 4-6 years of relevant interior design experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior/lead role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Vray, and Adobe Photoshop is essential.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing projects and guiding junior designers.
Proven ability to handle client presentations and communication independently (English & Mandarin fluency required).
Excellent understanding of space planning, color theory, layout design principles, and design documentation.
Demonstrated success in budget control, supplier coordination, and project delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Proficient in both Mandarin and English
