Responsibilities

Evaluate and enhance existing equipment, processes, and product designs as needed to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation for current processes and equipment in compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Train engineering technicians and production personnel on new processes, equipment, and operational procedures. Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation for all new projects. Create small fixtures, tooling, and support equipment to optimize production workflows. Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and programs aimed at improving overall product quality. Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment. Support Design Engineering in prototyping and evaluating new or modified products. Assist in the production and development of new products through independent reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, discrepancy resolution, and defect prevention. Conduct process capability studies, design experiments, and analyze data to ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements

Proficiency with personal computers, including Microsoft Office and relational databases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Competence in presenting information clearly and responding to questions from groups. Ability to work under supervision and follow clearly defined project steps. Basic knowledge of new product development processes and workflows. Familiarity with select product lines within the business unit. Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary product development teams. Foundational knowledge in a relevant technical area.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 2-5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or product development.
