1. Plan and coordinate all production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment maintenance. 2. Manage and oversee the production operations in the food manufacturing plant. 3. Develop and implement production plans that meet customer demand and production targets. 4. Ensure that production processes meet quality standards and are completed efficiently. 5. Develop and implement production policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for production processes. 6. Ensure that production operations are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. 7. Coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules. 8. Train, supervise and mentor production employees to ensure that they understand and adhere to SOPs and work instructions. 9. Develop and implement production plans that meet customer demand and production targets. 10. Monitor and analyze production performance data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. 11. Conduct regular quality inspections of finished products to ensure that they meet specifications and customer requirements. 12. Develop and maintain production-related documentation, including production schedules, bill of materials, and production reports. 13. Develop and implement production improvement initiatives, including process redesign, equipment upgrades, and automation. 14. Manage and monitor production costs to ensure that they are within budget. 15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of production improvement initiatives that optimize efficiency and reduce waste. 16. Investigate and resolve production-related issues and non-conformances. 17. Maintain production equipment and ensure that it is operating efficiently. 18. Develop and maintain documentation related to production processes, including procedures, work instructions, and training materials. 19. Ensure that the production area is clean, organized, and free from hazards. 20. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices related to food production. 21. Prepare and deliver regular reports on production performance to senior management. 22. Undertake and perform any other ad hoc duties, task, projects assigned by the Immediate Superior, Manager and above when required.
