Position overview

---------------------


This internship opportunity gives hands-on exposure to the workings of a chemical manufacturing plant. You will be involved in the continuous efforts of our production plant in Melaka, and will be working in a team who is keen to help you learn and grow. Apply your knowledge of chemistry in this role, where you will work with production data, lab data, and much more.

Responsibilities

--------------------

To be attached to the Production Department on site and be involved in daily operations To assist with process improvement activities and work with the production team for implementation To perform statistical analysis and evaluation of data for process and productivity improvements To assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures for site production activities To assist in creating production support documentation including operations process and productivity

Required skills and experience

----------------------------------

Tech-savvy and has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc. Meticulous and is comfotable working with data Curious about the chemical industry and has a genuine interest in a career in chemicals

Qualifications

------------------

Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any other related field of study At least 6 months of availability for the internship period
