Job Description

The Factory Worker with Packing Duties is responsible for performing various tasks within the factory, including production, assembly, and packing of products. The role requires versatility, attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Production and Assembly:

• Operate machinery and equipment used in the production process.
• Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and report any issues to the supervisor.

Packing and Packaging:

• Prepare products for shipment by packing them securely in boxes, crates, or other containers.
• Use appropriate packing materials such as bubble wrap, foam, and packing peanuts to protect items.
• Seal and label packages accurately.

Quality Control:

• Inspect products for defects or damages before packing.
• Ensure that the correct quantity and type of products are packed.
• Report any quality issues to the supervisor.

Inventory Management:

• Keep track of packing materials and report low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of packed items.

Safety and Cleanliness:

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other factory workers and packing staff to meet daily production and packing targets.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Efficiency and Productivity:

• Meet or exceed daily production and packing quotas.
• Identify and suggest improvements to production and packing processes to increase efficiency.
