PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group\xe2\x80\x99s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch\xe2\x80\x99s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics\xe2\x80\x99 fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job Overview

Start of setup of local SO-LCL-team key pillar in enabling more efficient future Pki-growth for SO as well as increased independence from market for (SC) talents in Rt. Goal responsibility for these positions will be with AE/MFC2-SO.

• As an IT Solution developer, you will actively collaborate in the development of a sustainable IT landscape for the international semiconductor operations network (SO)
• You will evaluate state-of-the-art solutions for intelligent and efficient connection of available IT systems and data sources (SAP, BLUE YONDER).
• You will support the design, implementation, and optimization of modern interdisciplinary analysis tools for the fast and precise presentation of market developments, alternatives, and scenarios within the SO.
• You will accompany the introduction and communication of new planning processes and interdisciplinary platform applications.
• You are involved in the operational execution and improvement of medium- and long-term planning, with the collection of forecast quantities and the improvement of associated master data in quality and consistency.
• In addition, you are supporting the Product Portfolio Management and the Bosch termination notification process
• You are responsible for the documentation of the MFC2-SO core processes.

• Minimum 5 years to 10 years working experience in the related field.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification
• Good communication skills (Verbal and Written)

• Able to work in a team and provide positive influence to improve

• Communicate well and moderate meetings/workshops with all levels and departments

• Strong interest in modern technologies, agile mindset, reliability, and ability to work under pressure

• Structured and independent way of working, analytical skills to grasp complex interrelationships, good communication skills

• Proficiency in one of the following programming languages (R, Python), good foundation in SQL

• Background in databases and ETL-process automation with low-code platforms (KNIME, SSIS), or alternatively via scripting; Technical understanding of platform applications; First experiences with IT planning processes and change management.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken), German skills are a plus
