Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production activities to ensure output, quality, and delivery schedules are met. Lead and guide production operators in performing assembly, testing, and packaging of optical modules. Monitor product quality and coordinate with QA team to resolve defects or process deviations. Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO standards, and cleanroom/ESD requirements. Oversee proper handling, usage, and basic maintenance of production equipment. Manage shift schedules, manpower allocation, and attendance of production staff. Track production data (output, yield, scrap, downtime) and submit regular reports to the Production Leader/Manager. Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen) to improve efficiency and reduce cost. Ensure workplace safety, discipline, and adherence to company policies on the production floor. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 -3 years of production experience, preferably in optical modules, electronics, or semiconductor manufacturing. Fresh graduates with interest in manufacturing are also welcome to apply. Experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing/cleanroom environment. Knowledge of optical module assembly, fiber alignment, or precision testing is an added advantage. Familiar with ISO standards, SOPs, and quality control practices. Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methods. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage frontline operators. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle shift or extended hours when required. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with production reporting tools (ERP/MES systems is a plus). Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as problem-solving abilities; basic listening and speaking skills in Mandarin are required.
